At the end of 2016, the TREE Africa family received some sad news. One of our warriors for change  passed away, Brother Alfred.
He was very instrumental in helping us at the beginning of our National Sanitation Day Trash4Books Program, and helping us to grow in the rural community of Akurugu Daboo. He was a dedicated volunteer, teacher, mentor, brother, son and friend. We shall continue in his honour.
